The Tignes ski resort is one of the highest in Europe, with its Lac, Lavachet, and Val Claret districts all situated at altitudes of over 2,100 meters. In this Savoie resort in the heart of the Alps, skiing is possible for most of the year thanks to the Grande Motte glacier, which reaches an altitude of 3,456 meters. Skiing, snowboarding, telemark skiing, and adaptive skiing are all available here in this ski area with 150 km of slopes. You can also access the Tignes - Val d'Isère ski area (formerly Espace Killy), which boasts 300 km of slopes and 71 ski lifts, representing over 1,900 meters of vertical drop! Two cross-country skiing areas are also available, one between Lac and Val Claret and the other in the Marais area.
