Advantages
Les Angles is perfect for beginners and intermediates. Two 3km green slopes and lots of easy blues and reds. The pistes are quite short, wide and of an even steepness making them very pleasant - a great place to learn to ski and improve your technique but as you become more experienced you may find it a bit boring. We went in peak season (French vacances scolaire)and it was quiet by the standard we had experienced in the Alps. The only really busy part was on the nursery slope in the village where the ESF have their jardin de neige. If you are an adult beginner I would recommend heading up the telecabin and using the nursery slope there which is longer, just as easier and alot quieter. Most days when we were skiing the blue and red slopes there was no one else on the piste - we rarely had to queue for long which made it a pleasure. The village is small but has a few nice restaurants serving huge portions. Family friendly, welcoming, easy to walk around and quiet. This is not a resort for the young who want lots of night life. This was perfect for our family of 2 adults and 2 children (10 and 8).
Inconveniences
It would of been nice to have more choice of restaurants on the pistes (only 1, which made it very busy) Only two very small supermarkets available.
