At 1750m altitude, Mottaret sits 300m higher than the centre of Méribel, making it the most snow-sure of all the villages in the Méribel Valley. The centre of Mottaret which is only five minutes’ walk away, boasts a decent offering of bars and restaurants, but if you’re looking to explore Méribel centre, there is a regular free shuttle bus which departs from just outside the chalet.

Chalet Etienne is a beautiful 15 bed chalet located in one of Meribel’s most sought after neighbourhoods, Meribel Village. Meribel Village is only a few minutes bus ride away from the bustling centre of Meribel, although it also has a centre of its own with a couple of popular places to eat and drink, a small supermarket and boulangerie and easy access to the slopes. Chalet Etienne is only five minutes’ walk from the nearest ski lift and piste, from which there is easy access to the rest of the Meribel and Three Valleys ski area. If you drive to Méribel there is a large driveway with space for up to 4 cars to park right outside the chalet. From the ground floor you’ll find access to the terrace which has a sauna and outdoor hot tub and stunning views of the ski slopes !
